The Well at Work Psychology and Workplace Counselling service known as Pathway 4 Health, includes different types of individual consultation and group work, all of which address staff mental health and wellbeing issues. The aim is to support and improve the performance of employees by assisting them to deal with personal and work-related issues in a proactive manner. These services reflect a key principle on which the service is established, namely that staff wellbeing should be addressed not only at an individual level but also at group and organisational levels.
Facilitated sessions for groups of staff who want support and time to reflect on difficulties they are experiencing. The groups might consist of a single session or a series of several sessions, usually held in the staff’s workplace. The counsellor, who lead them, have specialist group work training or experience in organisational work. We find it useful when staff are coping with any organisational change; difficult working relationships; aftermath of difficult events; etc.
